Calix EXA - Add a VLAN to an E7
1. In CMS, click on the node you are adding the VLAN to and click on the VLANS tab
2. On the Provisioning tab, click on Create. In the section that says "ID", you will enter the VLAN number. All other information can be copied from the same VLAN on other shelves that have already been provisioned with this VLAN. Configuration settings for the VLAN must be the same on each node throughout the ring. Once you have entered in all the information, click Create.
3. In the same provisioning page, click on the VLAN you created. Now click on "Add/Remove VLAN Members".
Click on the interfaces you would like to add the VLAN to and click the right arrow to move it to the section that says "Current members for this vlan". Once you have done this, click OK.
4. If there are tag action profiles already created for this VLAN, we will need to synchronize them. In the navigation tree, click on the CMS tab.
Go to PROFILE->E3-48C/E5-48/E7/E3-8G/E3-48R2/ONT->SERVICE->TAGGING->TAG ACTION then highlight the profiles that belong to the VLAN you are adding.
Once the profiles are highlighted, click on Action then select SYNCHRONIZE.
The profiles should now say Synchronized under Syncstate.
