Calix SMx - Sandbox Test Environment

Installation

Deploy a VM from an OVF or OVA File and name it appropriately. Click to select the file or drag and drop it into the specified area. Select the datastore on which the VM will reside and store its files. Select the desired Disk Provisioning click next and the Ready to complete page will be displayed. Click finish and do not refresh the browser while the VM is being deployed.

SSH

To SSH into the Sandbox you must change the port number to 20022 instead of port number 22.

Activation

After the installation of the OVA file, the CLI will ask for the login user name: sysadmin and the password: sysadmin. After logging in the CLI will display three ChSums, these series of letters and numbers must be copied and pasted to a notepad so that a Calix ticket can be opened and an activation code be received.
